Bernd Schwefing

Bernd Schwefing has been Managing Director of Controlware GmbH since 2011.
After training as a banker, studying economics at the University of Witten/Herdecke and a research stay in Cambridge (Ma.), Bernd Schwefing held management positions in medium-sized companies in various industries. When he joined Controlware in 2003, he was initially responsible for controlling/investments, international activities and the acquisition of the subsidiary Networkers AG. In 2007, he was appointed to the management board as COO, where he was responsible for technology, sales and marketing.
He has been a member of BITKOM's main board since 2011.

Michael Küchen

Michael Küchen joined the Controlware GmbH team as CFO and member of the management board in October 2021. The trained banker and business graduate studied economics in Frankfurt/Main with a focus on Corporate Finance & Accounting. Michael Küchen's expertise is based on a long career with renowned companies. After graduating, he started his career in management consulting in 2005 and worked for KPMG Advisory in Frankfurt and London (Corporate Finance/Transaction Advisory) and Roland Berger (Corporate Finance & Restructuring). In 2016, Michael Küchen moved to the industrial side of a leading family-run system partner for capital goods in the construction and handling industry in Europe, whose growth and transformation course he actively accompanied as commercial managing director.
